This tutorial will help you to create a mockup image to embed into an email that you will send to your list through the Email Service Provider of your choice.

Advanced marketers use images that look like video players to make it appear as if the email contains an actual video.

A mockup image embedded in an email will entice your readers to click to view their personalized video. You will link the mockup to the PersonalizedLink generated by our system.

The 1st step is to Download our mock-up file.Click here to download our pre-made mockup file.If you don't have Adobe Photoshop, you can simply use the provided generic pre-done mockups and use them in your emails.

Click Save File and Click OK to start downloading

After the download has finished, click on the 'Open Containing Folder' icon. You can open the Downloads tab by pressing Ctrl+J or Cmd+Alt+L.

Double-click PSD File to open in Adobe Photoshop. (Green Highlight)

Double-click the Layer named "double click me"(Green Highlight) to insert your screenshot.

A 2nd tab will open in Adobe Photoshop. In this tab you will place your Image screenshots that you will take later from VLC media player or your YouTube Video

You have 2 Methods on how to take a screenshot image of a video:The 1st Method is to take a screenshot of your mp4 video using VLC media player.Go through the video and then click the PAUSE button and get a screenshot of your desired frame.

Click Video in the Menu bar and choose Take SnapshotA snapshot of the Video will be saved in your computerYou can see the screenshots in:Windows: My Documents\My Pictures\Mac OS X: Pictures

The 2nd Method applies to online videos We will use this video as an example

Click the Gear Icon in the YouTube player and change the Quality Settings

We recommend picking the Highest Resolution available

Click the Full Screen icon so that your screenshot image will be of high quality. (Green Highlight)

Click on the Play button and press the [PrntScr] button on your keyboard to capture a screenshot to your clipboard.

Make sure that the controls and timeline are Hidden before pressing the [PrntScr] button. (The controls will be hidden when you haven't moved your mouse in the last 3 seconds)

After you have pressed [PrntScr] in your YouTube Video, You can now paste the image by pressing [Ctrl+V]in the 2nd tab that you have opened in Adobe Photoshopor dragging the Screenshot Image that you have taken earlier from VLC media player in step 8

Resizing Image to fit in your CanvasPress [Ctrl+T] to resize your image to fit the canvas. While resizing, hold both [Shift + Alt] buttons to maintain proper aspect ratio.

After you have resized the Image, Press [Ctrl+S] to Save the 2nd tab in Adobe PhotoshopClick on the 1st tab to see the result of your mockup

Saving your file in PhotoshopClick File > Save for Web... or Press [ Alt + Shift + Ctrl + S](Green Highlight)

Be sure to save your file in High QualityImage SizeWidth: 1280pHeight: 720pClick Save...

Now insert this image into your autoresponder message/campaign and link it to the PersonalizedLink from our system.
